Introduction
Greenheat Renewables Ltd have 12 years experience in working with renewable technologies. We have a highly skilled workforce with all engineers holding qualifications in their respective fields.
We are able to offer an end to end solution for the design and installation of the majority of domestic and commercial renewable energy projects
We understand that no two projects are the same , that’s why we are able to offer an end to end bespoke solution for the design and installation for a large number of domestic and commercial renewable energy projects.
If you are planning a project involving renewable technologies contact us to find out how Greenheat Renewables Ltd can assist.
Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP) take solar energy stored in the ground and compress it to provide heat for your home. This can then be used to heat radiators, underfloor or warm air heating systems and provide hot water.
We have substantial experience with the design and installation of GSHP systems. This includes the installation of the ground collector either by mole ploughing the pipes into the ground or drilling vertical boreholes.
There are grants available for installing this type of technology.
If you would like to discuss your project in more details please contact us.
Biomass
Biomass Boilers work in the same way as conventional boilers but instead of using oil or gas to produce heat they combust organic material (usually wood pellets or chips). They are essentially considered to be carbon neutral since the carbon dioxide released during combustion was absorbed whilst the tree was growing.
We have significant experience in the installation and maintenance of biomass systems. We can also provide you with information on the grants which are available.
If you are interested in finding out more please contact us. Our design engineering team would be happy to help.
Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) uses a refrigerant system to to transfer heat from outside to inside a building. This heat is then used for heating radiators, underfloor heating systems as well as providing hot water.
ASHP are likely to lower your energy bills particularly where they are replacing conventional electric heating.
There are grants available for installing air to water systems but not air to air.
For further information please contact us.
District Heating Systems
District Heating is a system for distributing heat generated from a central location through a system of insulated pipes for domestic and commercial heating and hot water. The heat can be generated from a variety of sources including biomass boilers, geothermal heating, heat pumps and solar heating.
Heating networks can vary enormously in size with Community Heating supplying a small number of properties and District Heating looking to large scale sources of heat for a larger number of buildings.
We are experts in the field of renewable technology and have installed a number of network heating systems. If you would like further information on heating networks and the grants which may be available please contact us.
Solar PV systems function by harnessing the sun’s energy and converting into electricity that can be used in homes. Once any appliance is turned on, you will automatically use the electricity you have generated. Any electricity you do not use is then exported back into the mains grid.
There are a number of factors to consider in any solar PV project and we can help you assess whether this is the right solution for you.
There are grants available for installing this type of technology.
