About Us
Greenheat Renewables Ltd (GHR) are a business based in the Scottish Borders which specialises in the installation of renewable energy solutions for both domestic and commercial markets.
The business was established 12 years ago by Zander Bruce. Zander completed a BSc degree in General Science at Glasgow University and on finishing his 4 year apprenticeship set up in business installing renewable technologies throughout Scotland and the north of England.
Zander Bruce made the decision six years ago to base the company in the Scottish Borders, returning to his roots. He is an advocate for renewable technologies and creating a centre of expertise in the Borders. Zander strongly believes that it is essential to grow talent and ensure that skilled jobs are created for local people.
The company has continued to grow in both experience and knowledge and employs engineers with skill sets that span different trades and complement each other to provide our customers with a comprehensive service. Above all, our staff have a can-do attitude and take great pride in their work.
Our services include the installation of renewable technologies such as ground source heat pumps (GSHP), air source heat pumps (ASHP), Solar PV, bio-mass. We have also designed and installed district heating systems which utilise renewable technologies.
In 2020 we invested in a new borehole drilling rig to install GSHP borehole collectors and also to enable us to complete water well installations. We also install various other utilities such as electrical power, fibre broadband duct, district heating networks and water supply networks.
